Huge Blowout

Okay, things are really hectic at work. I am swamped. One of the ladies I work with got really sick, and now I am doing her job on top of my own. I don't know how to do half of what she is doing, so everything is trial by fire. I can feel the anxiety when I get up, and I rush in to work to try and get as much done as I possibly can in order to relieve some of the pressure. The good part is, it is challenging and the days go by really fast. The bad part is....well I DON"T HAVE TIME FOR MY LIFE!!
I thought going back to work would be the best thing for everyone. You know all the things you tell yourself you are going to do if you didn't have to work and could just stay home? It doesn't happen. At least for me. Staying at home became so boring - I became stagnant. The thought of cleaning the house AGAIN became painful. I didn't utilize the time I had. And I felt guilty if I did anything for myself.
Now that I am working full time, I wish I wasn't again. I cannot find that balance between home and work. I feel like I am always working. I work all day, clean the house, do all of the shopping, laundry, pay the bills, etc. etc. Needless to say, I am tired, and kinda pissed at my husband. I mean he works longer hours than me, but does that mean that I have to do EVERYTHING?!!!

Trent Passed His Drivers Test Today

I am relieved and stressed out at the same time! We are in the process of building a contract with him regarding the do's and don'ts of driving, and the consequences of breaking those rules. Teenagers are so tiring. They think that nothing will happen to them, until the consequences hit them in the face!! I know, because I was one of those teenagers!! I am very frustrated - I can't wait until he pulls it together! It seems like everyone around me has these "perfect" children? How does this happen? I spend a large majority of my time wondering what the hell I did wrong!
